Here is a small list of community resources for the LGBTQIA+ and their allies.


ReconcilingWorks+
ReconcilingWorks is a national organization helping churches welcome, include, and celebrate LGBTQIA+ folks. You can find a supportive church here or resources for the journey of welcome here.

Prism Health
Compassionate health care and mental health providers for the LGBTQ+ community and beyond.

PFLAG*
In local chapters, PFLAG provides confidential peer support, education, and advocacy, including Portland area PFLAG communities. They are a wonderful source of support especially for parents whose kids have come out, and for folks questioning or coming out.


Austen Hartke+
Lutheran writer and trans theologian is the author of Transforming: The Bible and the Lives of Transgender Christians, and includes
an extensive resource page on his site.

My naming liturgy+
For trans folks who may wish to have the church bless their name, I am providing my liturgy as one example of how it can be done.
